2012-2013 TTSN REFLECTIVE PRACTICE LEADERSHIP SERIES

The SD TTSN Reflective Practice Leadership Series consist of three on- line graduate credit courses that total six credits. The series of courses are sponsored by DOE/TIE through the University of Sioux Falls (USF) and are completed during the 2012-2013 school year. The sequenced curriculum supports the development of collaborative practice that builds on participants' prior knowledge and experience. Participants will increase their capacity to serve as educational leaders both at their school site and in the Teacher to Teacher Support Network (TTSN).
Series Objectives
  • Build an online community of learners who support each other's growth as professional educators through thoughtful examination of instructional decisions.
  • Provide thoughtful preparation and ongoing support to develop new skills and knowledge that enable participants to improve their practice through professional conversation.
  • Examine current practice and set professional goals based on target areas of the Framework for Teaching (Danielson, 2011).
  • Providing ongoing opportunities for reciprocal growth and learning through reflective conversations about educational practice in established online forums.
